I am a musician, designer, and woodworker who lives and works in Sterling, MA, and I love the process of taking a project from a simple drawing to a finished work. My grandfather was a builder, and I’ve always loved the sights, sounds, and smells of the woodshop. I build heirloom furniture and custom acoustic guitars from wood that tells a story, and my favorite pieces are made from decades old library shelving or centuries old church pews.
About
Custom Designed.
Built by Hand.
”“We absolutely adore the table that Zach made for us. I had so much fun designing a table that would fit in our kitchen and fit with our mid-century modern aesthetic. The table was even more spectacular than we imagined — the quality of the craftsmanship was so impressive and Zach even gave us a bag of tools that will allow us to keep it is perfect condition for years and years to come. I can’t wait to design even more furniture with Zach and fill our home with his beautiful work.”

The wood itself should tell a story.
When possible, I use recycled materials in my projects, and I’ve had the good fortune to find some truly unique lumber from churches and libraries in New England. The pieces I build represent the “third life” of a tree after many decades of existence as library shelving or church pews. I build my pieces so that they can be cherished by your loved ones for generations.
It all begins with design.
Each piece begins with a consultation where I listen to your needs and design a piece that is perfect for your home. After the consultation I draw a custom design and select lumber that is best suited for your needs. Every choice from wood species to wood finish is made with you and your space in mind.
Designs that last a lifetime.
”Thank you again for making us such a beautiful table. We really love it and you are so talented. I know our family’s going to share this table for a long time so thank you.
